In a draw held at the CONCACAF headquarters in New York City on Monday, Real Salt Lake was paired with fellow MLS club Columbus in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals.
Columbus will host the first leg between Feb. 22-24, with RSL hosting the second leg between March 1-3. It figures to be an intriguing quarterfinal between the two most recent MLS champions.
The other quarterfinal pairings are: Toluca (Mexico) vs. Monterrey (Mexico), Cruz Azul (Mexico) vs. Santos Laguna (Mexico) and Saprissa (Costa Rica) vs. (Honduras).
