These, well let me begin by restating that I have no issues with the city of Austin, TX; it seems like a fine place. It's just that these rather pathetic gatherings that PSV (i.e., Precourt and his goonish sidekick Greeley) have recently engineered in Austin, it's as though they exist to try and gin up support for a team, convince the good people of Austin that this is, you know, exciting and that it would be really, really helpful if they got behind this move in a way that at least appears to be legitimate, organic. I'm sure there are a small number of people in Austin who are very excited at the prospect of having an MLS team. But there's certainly no groundswell of public support, no long-standing supporters group that's been lobbying for this. No, what you have is an embarrassing propaganda show, bought and paid for my Precourt. I mean, if PSV hadn't put on these couple of events, would there have been any public show of support in Austin for this move whatsoever? Anything at all?
